# Local Transport

> Local man with a van in every UK & Ireland county. Book a van-with-driver online for house moves, furniture delivery and same-day courier — or post your job on our transport demand board and let a nearby driver accept it. Transparent per-mile pricing from £1.50/mile.

Local Transport is a UK + Ireland delivery and moving marketplace. Two ways to use us: (1) instant online booking with per-mile price and card/bank payment, or (2) post a transport demand — description, pickup, drop-off, dates — into our public demand board where local van drivers browse and pick up jobs. We recruit self-employed owner-drivers across every UK shire, every Scottish region, every Welsh county, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, so customers get a genuinely local driver near them and drivers get a steady stream of jobs in their own area.

## Standing discounts

- **APP5** — automatic 5% discount for every order placed from the installed customer app (PWA on home screen).
- **FIRST10** — 10% off a customer's first ever order on Local Transport. One use per customer; cannot be combined with APP5 (the larger discount is kept).
